We just got home from a much needed escape to Colorado. I didn’t want to leave. The shopping, our families, the scenery, the weather…..oh, that weather. If I could live in a climate that is forever fall, I would be a happy, happy girl. We stayed in Denver for two days with Sean’s cousin and then escaped to the mountains for a few days with our dear friend, Paul. If I could do it all over again, I would have skipped Denver all together. As much as I love the city and seeing our family, I desperately needed the peace and beauty of the mountains. We were lucky enough to stay in the most amazing house that overlooked a beautiful lake surrounded on every side by mountains. Absolute perfection. Thanks again for the generosity, Paul! Our door is always open! (that means get your butt to The Big O!)
Sorry for the picture heavy post, I just couldn’t choose a few of my favorites. Hope you all had a safe and wonderful Labor Day!

Most of these are just beautiful scenery pictures I snapped while exploring Grand Lake and driving through Rocky Mountain National Park. I love how absolutely vivid everything is in the mountains. Truly one of the most beautiful places on earth.
